member highlights

We would like to say a special congratulations to our own Natalie Tidwell who was named Reserve Champion at the Junior North American Field Hunter Championship hosted by the Belle Meade Hunt in Thomson, Georgia, on November 11th and 12th. After qualifying at one of our own meets, Natalie had to compete in 3 phases of competition over the course of the weekend.  First the juniors participated in an equitation round and a mock hunt. Then the top 10 were selected to ride in a final test which consisted of jumps, gates and other obstacles often seen in the hunt field. Natalie and her fellow juniors were judged on their ability to complete all of these tasks as they would in the hunt field. We are so proud of you, Natalie! Thank you for representing Mooreland so well!
